[Frequently Asked Questions]
- Do the day passes need to be used consecutively?
Unless otherwise stated, day passes are deducted only on the day mobile data service is used and do not need to be used consecutively.
- If I have more than one HKBN Global SIM card in my HKBN account, how will the day passes be deducted?
If you have more than one HKBN Global SIM card in your account, day passes will be deducted on a first-come-first-served basis using any or all of the HKBN Global SIM cards.
^The speed and actual experience are subject to the local network coverage and other relevant network conditions. When the daily roaming data usage reaches 1GB, the thereafter maximum speed will be 128kbps.
*A "day" refers to the 24 hours after the roaming data daily rate plan is activated. The daily rate is calculated per day, per roaming area, or per day if roaming data has been used for less than one day.
Terms and Conditions
1.Customers purchasing for this service are deemed to have understood, confirmed, and agreed to abide by these terms and conditions and all related terms and conditions.
2.This service is only available to existing customers registered for HKBN Global SIM service ("Customers").
3.Customers who purchase for the Global SIM 10 Hot APAC Travel Data Day Passes ("Service") will enjoy 10 Hot APAC Travel Data Day Passes. These passes will automatically be credited to the customer's Hong Kong Broadband account the day after successful purchase of the service.
4.The Hot APAC Travel Data Day Passes are only applicable in the specified 14 regions and/or countries including Mainland China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, India, and Australia.
5.The validity period of the Hot APAC Travel Data Day Passes is 365 days from the day after successful purchase of the service. Any unused data balance will be forfeited without compensation after the validity period ends.
6.The service will be automatically activated when the customer arrives in the specified region and/or country and starts using travel data. The service fee is calculated daily for each specified region and/or country, and is charged as a full day even if used for less than a day. A "day" refers to 24 hours from the time of service activation, calculated based on the time zone of the location where the service is activated.
7.This service does not include a SIM card.
8.This service cannot be exchanged for cash, other products or services, and is not for resale.
9.The service is also subject to the terms and conditions of the HKBN Global SIM service plan (Please visit https://www.hkbn.net/Global-SIM-Plan-TnC).
10.In case of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
11.Hong Kong Broadband Network Limited (“HKBN") reserves the right to change or cancel this offer or amend these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. In case of any dispute, HKBN reserves the right of final decision.
Data day passes will automatically be credited to the customer’s HKBN account the day after successful purchase. Customer can login in the account on my HKBN APP and click “Travel” > “My Global SIM” to check the quantity and the usage of travel day passes.
